Hi Sonny,

Another year has slipped past, as I am slipping, too.

Recently, I have seen a bunch of pics of your grandchildren, they are darlings.

H is 80, is that possible?

You will be forever young in my memories.

Love to the menagerie and mostly to you, MJ

Hi Sonny,
You missed what has been another bad year for the most part. We are just beginning to poke our heads out of our shells, while you could have been boating!!
Sadly for your grandchildren, who missed out on knowing you, lost their other grandfather yesterday in a helicopter crash. Josh's dad was only 60. I think of Grampa Viele, and I cannot imagine us not having him there for all of our mis-spent youth.
I'm hoping your there with the dogs and Maggie, and that we meet up as soon as the time is right.

Love you, Mary Jo

Hi Sonny, You missed out on a lot of bad this year, but probably would have had lots of time on your boat; I think of you all the time, and miss you. I lost Maggie this year, so I am hoping in addition to dogs that I will find cats when I get there, too. Love mj

Dear Barb, Mary Jo & Susie,
So sorry to learn of Tim's passing. Seems like there's quite a few of the old Mitchell Street gang hanging out in heaven nowadays.
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers,

Mission accomplished, Mr. Phelps!
I wish you blue skies, fair winds, and following seas.
Take care of the dogs 'til I get there.

What a special friend Tim was. Lots of great memories of his visit to St. Croix when he stayed with us to visit Chris. He showed tremendous compassion for people, especially when he visited my own mom in the hospital.

Tim: I had the best time with you out on your boat in the late 1970's and early 1980's...You were truly one of a kind and a pleasure to be around. I love the water because of you! May you be surrounded by big yachts in the sky.
