Greece: The man with a heart of Gold brought home to our Heavenly Father, suddenly, February 19, 2016 in Scottsdale Arizona. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Darlene (DiNardo) Colombini; brother, Luciano (Kathy) Colombino; sister, Louise Nolletti; sisters and brother-in-law, MaryAnn (Randy) Ogden, Susan DiNardo; brother-in-law, John DiNardo; several nieces, nephews and dearest fiends. Vic is predeceased by his parents, George and Vincenza Colombini; sister, Angie Ranalletta; mother-in-law, Gloria DiNardo. With blood, sweat and tears Vic became a true success story. Vic was the original owner and operator of Colombini's Bakery Pizza and Deli for 14 years and the owner and sole proprietor of Deerfield Country Club for 7 years. Vic gave true meaning of the word self made entrepreneur.

No prior calling. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday (Feb 27th) 11:00 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Road. Private Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm and the Aquinas Institute in his memory. Rest in paradise Vic for our cherished memories will never fade. I thoroughly enjoyed my 5 years working with you at Deerfield. It gave me the opportunity to get to know one of the classiest golf course owners in the business.That being said,the most important thing was, I was able to call you my friend. I was playing golf at Deerfield and I asked Vic if we didn't have to be paired up because I didn't play well. He said "fine" but talked to me gently about playing outside of my comfort zone. He said that he regularly played with better golfers and I shouldn't be intimidated by it. I haven't forgotten his words (I still struggle though), but I remember his kindness in taking the time to try and build me up. I am so sorry for his family.

Darlene, we are so sorry to hear of Victor's passing. Victor was a beautiful person, both inside and out, and will be missed dearly.
