Remembering a wonderful friend to so many of us. He was part of a group who all shared many memories and good times in high school and college. Bill was always there for everyone and ready to listen and help. He is still missed by so many! Sending love to his wife and family.

I just found out about his passing, but I wanted to add my comments to his family's memories. Bill was my first boss at Xerox Corporation in the early 70s. He taught me so much and I still think, "What would Bill do in this situation?" I have compared every boss since then to him and none have ever measured up to him. He was a great boss, but he was also a good friend and I treasure my days working for him and with him when I moved into the HR position. When I get to Heaven, he will be one of the first ones I look for. He is one of those friends that you treasure and never forget. I was Joan Lamb Pilkington when I worked for him.

Growing up in Hershey and knowing Bill from the "home" was such a happy time for all of us. He was a great guy and all of our memories of those days gone by will be with us forever. It was a very unique time of our lives. May you all find comfort from your love of Bill and keep all the good memories of him in your hearts.

Grew up with Bill at Milton Hershey and Hershey Jr. College. Was a Spartan in the truest sense of the word. Will never forget the basketball game at York, we made it out alive. Was great seeing you at Homecoming '08

Bill was a great classmate while we were classmates at Hershey Junior College. Bill was always full of fun while attending the dances at the YMCA during those fun high school years. We also remember the basketball games when Bill played varsity basketball at Milton Hershey High School.

Sorry to hear about Bill. I knew him many years ago in school as I went to Hershey H.S. He was a great friend and sounds like he remained a wonderful man, husband and father through the years. I am deeply sorry for your loss. Those of us who used to run around together in Hershey Jr. College and H.S. have just found out about him and hope he is at peace. May God be with your family.

We recently connected with Bill after some 40 plus years. I knew him from his days at Hershey Junior College as a fraternity brother in Kappa Kappa. My wife knew him from his days at MHS. Our deepest sympathy to all of his family. He was a good guy.

I worked with Bill many years ago and recently we connected via email where he reminded me that I created a special wine label for his home brew. I was unable to attend the services and just wanted to let you know that Bill was a gentleman first and a manager second.
My prayers are with you all.

I have known Bill since 1975 and my days in the Mid-Atlantic Region. Bill was one of the "good guys." He was always open to new ideas and he shared his personal and professional talents selflessly. Bill was not only a pleasure to work with, but I feel fortunate to have known him as a person. I now live in Detroit and regret I was unable to attend his services. I send warm and loving thoughts to you all, and I pray for Bill's eternal peace.

Bill was such a wonderful person and "funny" guy. I enjoyed getting his computer trouble tickets. They were always interesting issues that only Bill would have:)

Bill has always been a wonderful leader, mentor and friend. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity work close with Bill, his special way of looking at things and his sense of humor are to be treasured. He always spoke about his family and he was very proud of their accomplishments. Bill has many friends at Xerox and we will all miss him. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow. Sincerely Steve Averbach
