Rochester: Writer and teacher Bill Repp died, August 24, 2013 at age 76, He is survived by sons, Richard and Stephen; his daughter, Michelle and his grandchildren, Jonathan, Jennifer and Nicholas Repp and Kristen and Katelyn Ikle and Randy Perry. He was born with the gift of laughter and a sense that the world was mad. He entertained people with his humor, playing the priest for more than 12 years in Joey and Maria's Comedy Wedding, and writing comedy sketches. He spent much of his professional career in public relations management, and founded a management consulting firm. Bill taught management, communication and writing at Rochester Institute of Technology for more than 20 years. He developed a business writing program that he taught to several thousand people, and wrote a weekly newspaper column, which published nationally in 11 papers.

Prentice-Hall published Bill's first book, Complete Handbook of Business English, and he wrote several more including Why Give it Away When You Can Sell It? He published more than 80 articles in publications such as AMA Management Review, and appeared weekly on television on PM Magazine in Rochester. He was noted in USA Today and Reader's Digest for his unique approach to time management. Bill had a B.A. in English from St. Bonaventure University, and a M.A. in Education from the University of Rochester. He was formerly a Franciscan Friar, a member of the Society of American Magicians, and sang with several musical groups. He was a member of Mensa International and had basic fluency in Latin, German, French, and Sign Language.

Friends are welcome to call at the Richard H. Keenan Funeral Home, 7501 Pittsford Palmyra Rd., Fairport (Egypt Location) Friday 4-7PM. Services and Interment are Private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Fairport Baptist Homes.
