I worked with Bill briefly at URMC, but we stayed in contact long afterwards. Bill was a hero-an American hero and a hero to me personally. A true embodiment of the greatest generation. Goodbye my dear friend...I shall miss you.

President John F. Kennedy once said:
“A nation reveals itself not only by the men it produces, but also by the men it honors, the men it remembers.”
As a Veteran of WWII and one of the brave men who landed on the beaches of Normandy that fateful day - your Dad will always be in a place of honor. On this sad day, he joins other brave men and women who took their oath of service to heart and are now with God in heaven. May God help you through this difficult time as I extend my deepest sympathy to the entire Urtis Family.
