Soo, Zun Chan

Chili: December 26, 2013 at the age of 85. Survived by his wife, Yin Fong; daughters Chi Soo (Michael Astarita), Chi Wah Soo Brown (Paul) & Mimi Soo. Grandchildren, Allison, Salena, Casmir, Kingsley & Marston. Also survived by nieces and nephews in China.

Mr. Soo was a successful restaurant owner for many years. He began his food service career in Rochester with the China House on Main St. and then opened the Far East Restaurant on Monroe Ave. He also pioneered selling Chinese food at festivals in and around Rochester.

Services to be held privately. Memorials may be made to Highland Hospital Palliative Care.

Che Chung and I will always remember Mr. Soo's smile. His and Mrs. Soo's services and love for us all in Rochester Christian Fellowship and the Rochester Chinese Christian Church all these years.
We will greatly miss him.
