Austin Ray Michael Laurence Moe
November 20, 1997 - June 27, 2021
Austin Ray Michael Laurence Moe died suddenly at the age of 23 on June 27th, 2021 in Klamath Falls.
He was born November 20, 1997, in Klamath Falls, to Rhonda Lewis (Moe). He lived and attended school in both Klamath Falls and Corvallis, where he was a much-loved member of each community. He played basketball from an early age and attended many basketball camps including at OSU where his love of basketball led him to play for Henley High School. Wanting to be an entrepreneur, he attended Klamath Community College, and was working towards his Associate's Degree in business. He worked for the Klamath County Fairgrounds, REACH, Dominos, Doordash, Instacart, and Gino's. He thrived on hard work but also enjoyed delivery because of his love for people.
He loved sports. Be it watching, especially in person at the Beavers games or on tv with his grandpa. And playing sports whether it was on the basketball court or his favorite video game NBA 2K. He also enjoyed visiting Europe, where he thought he might like to live someday.
Austin was passionate about helping others and saddened by the injustices he saw around him. He had a multifaceted sense of humor in which he could be silly, sarcastic or even dry. With his contagious and engaging smile, he was hard to resist.
He is survived by his mom and dad, Rhonda and Niall Lewis; father, Patrick Connelly; siblings, Gabriel Sullivan, Carli Connelly, Eileen, Liam and Tyler Lewis; grandparents, Ron and Cheryl Moe and David and Denise Lewis; aunt and uncle, Monica and Tony DeBaca; uncle, Brian Lewis, uncle, Ken Brown; cousins, Faith and Grace Brown; girlfriend, Jess McKeen, and many, many more whom he loved and those who loved him.
A celebration of life will be held at the Klamath County Fairgrounds, August 22, at 1 p.m.

It seems un-real.
Anytime anyone needed a friend, you were there. You had such a big, incredible heart.
You brought so much light to people. I am so grateful for the recent memory's and past memory's I have from when we were kids.
Rest in peace, you will be more than missed.

I love and miss you so much Austin. I'll never forget us living at Grandma's house or the apartment together where you would come and joke around with me every five minutes. I'll also never forget all the memories I have with you from our childhood. You are and forever will be my best friend. I'm so glad to have had a cousin like you.
