Douglas Bowen Obituary

Douglas Wayne "Bugs" Bowen

October 21, 1961 - January 4, 2022

Douglas Wayne "Bugs" Bowen was born in Bend, Oregon, on October 21, 1961. The third child of Dee and Donna Bowen, Doug will be remembered by his two brothers, Dan and Don, his two sisters, Deb and Diana, and his three beloved daughters, Tiffani, Lacy, and Heather. He found joy in spending time with his eight grandchildren.

Doug was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he brightened the lives of many with his wry humor. We fondly remember his Elvis Presley impersonation, "Thank you, thank you very much." He also had a way of saying "Groovy" and "Alright!" that made people laugh. Doug touched the lives of the many friends and family that were blessed to know him.

He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and he will be sorely missed. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, February 19, at 2 p.m. at Corvallis Evangelical Church, 1525 NW Kings Blvd., Corvallis, Oregon.

I work at the Mondays stone soup. Doug would often stop in for a meal and just chat. I really enjoyed talking to him and was saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences.
