Ken Wahl
August 20, 1936 - February 17, 2024
LEBANON - Ken Wahl was called home on February 17, 2024, in Lebanon Community Hospital by natural causes. Ken was born in Blaine, WA and raised in beautiful Anacortes. At the age of 16, he moved to Lebanon, Oregon, to help his father start a wood mill in Sweethome. He started driving log trucks which he loved almost as much as the pretty woman he married on April 3, 1954. They were wonderful dancers and blessed many halls with their graceful moves. Driving was Ken's passion, but nothing compared to his Harley Davidsons. He wasn't truly happy unless he was on his bike. Ken and Joan traveled many places across the United States with the wind in their hair. A pillar to the family, Ken was always there for any who needed him no matter what. His laughter and stories will be terribly missed but we know God gave him a "hog" to blast across the cosmos on.
He left behind devoted wife Joan Wahl; his loving children Joni Blackwell, Ramona Tidwell, Tena Lange and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Clint Graham, Travis Graham and husband Brian, Holly Vore and husband David, Heather Pangle and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Dallas Courser, Maudy Vore, Cory Graham, Cole Vore, Kobe Pangle, Kayden Pangle and Emma Pangle; and his great-great-grandchildren Bryce Garcia, Liam Courser and Tatyn Vore. Ken was proceeded in death by parents Margaret and Benny Wahl; and siblings Arnold, Mickie, Ronald, Arlene and Ramona.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 23rd from 2:30pm to 5:30pm at the Santiam Place Event Hall in Lebanon, OR. Refreshments will be provided. We look forward to seeing you and hearing your Ken Wahl stories.
