This has been a hard one for me to process. When we were young I enjoyed when we got to spend time together. Since we were so close in age it was more like you were my closet cousin rather then an Uncle. I agreed to do those bible lessons so that we could have more time to hang out and be with family, just so you know. I should have made more time as we grew up and took my chance to get to know you better again. Thought I would have some more time. I will miss you.
Matthew, you were a gentle soul. You cared for your family and always put them first. You embodied all the greatest parts of your father and I will always hold you up as one of the greatest of all time.
