Rebecca L. Badger
February 23, 1948 – April 23, 2024
SCIO - Becky Badger, 76, of Scio, Oregon passed away comfortably on April 23, 2024 with her children by her side. She was born in Bend, Oregon to Howard and Irene Smead but spent the majority of her life in the Willamette Valley.
Becky was a beauty, a Jackie Kennedy look alike in her younger years. She played lawn darts with a cocktail in one hand just as gracefully as she could wear you out on the tennis court. Four retail businesses, bowling, bunco and pinochle, golf, community activism and, of course, her beloved Oregon Ducks filled her with joy. Becky was witty, strong, stubborn, even feisty at times. She raised her kids to be the same. She will be missed.
Survivors include her children Jaime and Scott Sichler, Jim and Tami Morin, great-niece Kate Vogel and their families. She was predeceased by her husband David Badger, both parents and two younger siblings.
A reception honoring her memory will be held at The Historic ZCBJ Hall, 38704 Scio, Oregon on May 1st at 1:30 in the afternoon.
All expressions of sympathy, including flowers sent to The Flower Tree, Albany, Oregon, and honorary donations to World Central Kitchen are welcome. Becky would also appreciate all thoughts and prayers for An Oregon Football National Championship.

We had such a wonderful childhood! So much fun with family spending holidays together, vacationing together and back yard BBQues! We never did get together once we reunited after so many years. Palm Springs would have been perfect for us!!! Love you my longtime friend!!!!
