Charles Irvin Fletcher

Charles Irvin Fletcher, 83, of Corinth, Texas passed away on his ranch on October 21st. He was born on October 13, 1938 in Chattanooga, Tennessee but spent most of his life on his ranch in Corinth.

Charles worked in telecommunications until retirement. He had a love for animals, especially horses. He rode hunter-jumper and was the Master of the Hickory Creek Hunt in his early years. In later years, he founded and was CEO of Spirithorse International Therapeutic Riding Center and provided therapy to thousands of children, whom he loved, for over 15 years.

Charles is survived by his daughters Heather Bacon and Paige Almond, grandchildren Madison Almond, Hannah Burton, Grayson Almond, Gracie Bacon and great-grandson Deston Reece along with other extended family members.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and countless others who have been impacted by his love and kindness.

Memorial service will be held at a later date.

I'm the nephew of Charles Fletcher and I remember when I would go to visit him he would tell me all about horse's and even let me ride them,that's one of many things he taught me..

So very said to hear of his passing, I shared many memories of Charles through working at spirit horse for upwards of 3-4 years. Attended many camps and helped with anything/everything I could. I always loved hearing charles´ knowledge and learning from him. May he test in peace, sending condolences to the family!
