This world is certainly poorer without a great guy like Danny Campbell. I vividly remember a church youth group trip to Six Flags where Dan and Wilma, in true Saint fashion, volunteered to drive a car full of kids. Kaycie, Danny, Karl Lillie and I rounded out the group. On the way home Danny kept us all entertained by donning my red, white, and blue bucket hat and gave this look that said, "I am just that cool" as he bee-bopped his head with every song on the radio. He always had a sweet, subtle humor about him and you never doubted that he cared about you. He showed unequalled grace after an injury left him in a wheelchair and has been an example of how to handle adversity. Wilma and Kaycie, take extra good care of yourselves as you cherish your memories of sweet Danny. Love you, Linda

I was so sad to learn of Danny's death. I am thinking of you Wilma and Kaycie and family. Knowing our loved ones are going Home doesn't take away our heartache of missing them. I have thought of all of you often. I missed Danny acting like he was going to run over me, and that smile that always made others smile. I enjoyed helping Danny play cards with us at one of our singles events. He was such an encouragement to others with his positive attitude and uplifting words. I know you are already missing him. I was just thinking about him the other day. When I told Daddy of his passing, Daddy said he was thinking about y'all the other day and wondering how y'all were doing! I will always remember him and that smile. I will always remember how he said being in that wheel chair made him a better person! Praying for comfort and healing! I love you all!

Danny made me laugh, think about his point of view, and gave me his friendship. We enjoyed talking about our favorite rock and roll bands. It was my honor and privilege to have him in my life. I only hope I did a good job helping him. May he rest in peace.
