A flood of great memories fill me up of working at Kenneth Copeland Evangelistic Association with Doug as Office manager. He hired Vikki and me in 1976 which was such a huge part of Gods plan for us. He had that million dollar smile and infectious laugh. Im praying for Gods great grace to flood into the entire family.

A man's life preaches his funeral this definitely can be said of Doug. Though he has laid aside his body that allowed him to function in this world, to be a vessel for the Master's use, he continues to function in the spiritual world, now without restraints. I am most grateful, in my early years in ministry, to have had Doug as a boss at KCM; I learned many things from him that I still call to mind regularly. I pray the Lord's strength (joy) fill the hearts of all, who like myself have been impacted by Doug doing what the Lord called him to do.

We first met Doug in 1973 at a family gathering after Kenneths evening service at Will Rogers auditorium. After that, when Kenneth held meetings in Anaheim we would meet Doug for lunch. Three years later at one of those lunches Doug asked about my office skills. Then he offered me a job at Kenneth Copeland Evangelistic Association. We need people like you Vikki, he said, but Dennis we have plenty of guys who can do what you do. To that Dennis said, But you will never have anyone like me. He hired both of us! We always enjoyed our times with Doug. We had a lot of laughs through the years, many about those early the days at KCM. We will miss his smiling face, but know it wont be long before we are all united again. Our prayers for great grace and the comfort of the Holy Spirit to Gloria, Jan, Missy, Linda and all the family. It is sad to lose a friend like Doug Neece. He was there for everyone in his life; he cared; and he solved problems. He had such a gift of strategic thinking and wisdom which showed up with people one on one and with large organizations. He loved his family deeply and made an impact wherever he went. He was my first boss in ministry; I am thankful for our friendship through the years. Doug will be missed.

Mr. Neece, a man of authority, character of tempered steel, protective of his family, kind to friends and generous to so many. My last visit / conversation with Mr. Neece at Maddoxs Birthday Party he was praising the Lord Jesus for His Faithfulness.

I was so saddened to learn of Doug's death. My brother and I always enjoyed the many cousins when they would visit their grandparents' during the summer in Center Point Arkansas. What an innocent time, and what great memories we all shared! As a little boy Doug told his Mother, more than once, that he was going to marry his cousin, Pam, and they were going to move to "Wittle Wok!" My love, thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
