When my mom died from a car accident, my father called Mr. Coker and he drove up to Enid, Ok. That very evening to take her back to Sanger. I was only 8yrs old at that time. He made her look as though she was sleeping. I am sad that I am only now knowing of Your great loss. I am Bill McFarlin, son of Keith Lavelle and Mary Elizabeth McFarlin. 1968 was the time

Every single minute of any day that I spent with John Coker was a blessing in my life. He was like a father to me after my father's passing almost 20 years ago. He always reminded me to "get a haircut" when I had the time! He was a great man, great father, grandfather and loved his family as any person should.

John was a pillar in the Sanger Community. His ability to make decisions, decisions I would consider difficult, with strength, wisdom and meekness was admirable. Praying the Lord will give Johns family, friends and loved ones comfort during this time of loss.
