Eric and I were talking last night while Cindy and Paul were at the Rosary. He said he'd really miss his Grandma Bird and "whenever I talked to Grandma Bird she would always smile at me." Her family surrounded her with loving support during her illness-a tribute to her as a wife and mother. My sympathy goes out to all of them.

Bird was a wonderful mother and set a good example on how to live. She wasn't a talker, she was a doer. She had a practical sense of situational humor which she passed on to her daughter. She did everything she could to surround her kids and grandchildren with love and support.

Our thoughts & prayers are with all of you during this difficult time. Bernice was always so kind to us - we enjoyed our times with her at family events. I will remember her as always smiling & happy - she always made us feel like she was glad to see us! She is now in a more beautiful place with no pain & able to walk freely!
Love,
