CARMER, CAROLE 1938-2010, 71 years of age, passed away on May 27, 2010 in Lakewood, CO. Daughter of the late Bill and Lavern Buntemeyer Hoy of Wahoo, NE. Preceded in death by granddaughter Ela Carmer. Survived by husband Phil Carmer, and children Todd and Amy Carmer, of Glenwood Springs, CO, Scott and Alexis Carmer, of Hillsborough, CA, Steven and Stephanie Carmer of Northglenn, CO; grandchildren Haley, Brieanne, Maggie, Austin and Sam Carmer, Max and Ana Carmer, and Adison Carmer. Sister Connie Spellman and brother Roger Hoy, both of Omaha, NE. Sisters-in-law, Rosemary Sterling of Madison, SD, Nancy Starr of Des Moines, IA, 5 nieces, 5 nephews and 5 great nieces and 7 great nephews. Carole's priority was always to her husband and family. Member of book club, bridge club, garden club, bunko and doggie Club. Memorial Service June 3rd, 10:00 in green belt of The Villa's, 152 S. Vance Court, Lakewood, CO. To the Carmer Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Carole's passing. She taught me at District 27 in 7th and 8th grade and she was a great teacher! She made learning fun for all of us kids. She will be missed.
