My sympathies to Kay´s family.
Kay was a wonderful, kind and considerate woman. We were married for 12 years and she was the love of my life.
Kay loved the outdoors - hiking in the high country, National Parks, cycling, traveling and rock climbing.
She was a poet and had several of her poems published.
Her love of animals led her to becoming a dog trainer - she loved Scottish Terriers.
I miss Kay - her smile and dry sense of humor stay with me.
Rest in peace sweet heart.
Always,
John

Kay and I were born three weeks apart. She July 16, me August 6, 1957. We both laughed at how we met.
It was working together and summer school because we didn't handle our school work during the year.
She was on the security team at a store called Joslyn's. We started dating after meeting at the store but not in a serious way. She was working with the police department in some way and we weren't interested in serious dating.
When we met again at summer school probably in 1974, we spent time going to concerts, I showed her Red Rocks and Breckenridge. We spent more time together and had a blast being teenagers.
I traveled, she stayed in Colorado and we lost track of each other over the years until I returned in 1979 when we saw each other again. I moved to California and came back to see her a couple of times, it was always great to see each other and catch up. She was a kind spirit that loved animals almost as much as people. She wanted to help people in some realm and she was successful in that by a huge margin. She was a delightful shining star and light for me and all she met.
She holds a very special place in my heart and soul.
