LENNOX, CRAIG After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Craig passed away on May 22, 2009. He is survived by his wife Bette; sons Scott and Andrew; mother Freda; siblings Bob, Carla, Shelley, Bruce and George; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Duncan. Craig was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on April 5, 1947. He attended elementary and high school in Winnipeg and graduated from University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Arts. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Laws degree from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario and later a Masters of Public Affairs from University of Manitoba. Craig had a long and successful career in the legal department at Great-West Life where he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in both Winnipeg and Denver. Craig was an avid sports fan and was proud of the fact that he was an original season ticket holder for the Winnipeg Jets, the Colorado Avalanche and the Colorado Rockies. His greatest joys were both coaching hockey, which he did for many years, touching many young people's lives and watching his boys, Scott and Andrew, play sports. He loved the outdoors particularly hiking in the mountains, snowshoeing and boating. Craig was an ardent reader. His interest and knowledge covered a broad range of topics. He was always able to quote or recall relevant information about any given subject be it politics or social issues. It was a great day for him when he became a U.S. Citizen and was then able to cast his vote. Craig will be truly missed. A service will be held in The Chapel at Saint John's Cathedral, 1350 Washington Street, Denver on Monday, June 1 at 3 P.M. Reception to follow. Donations to The Lennox Family Foundation, 7627 S. Grape Way, Centennial, 80122 will be appreciated.

Dear Bette, Scott & Andrew,
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Anyone who had the opportunity to meet or play for "Coach" Lennox came away a better person by doing so. May our thoughts and prayers be with you all!

Dear Bette, Scott and Andrew,
Although we have not spoken in many years, I hope that you remember us. Brent and Andrew played hockey and baseball through Greendell in Winnipeg and Craig was not only the coach, he chauffered Brent to many a game. I will always be grateful. Brent and Andrew were always together and I cherish those times. Brent passed away in 2002 - we have learned to live with broken hearts. I want you to know that you are in our prayers. Craig was a very good soul and knowing him made our lives better. I am very sorry.

Dear Bette, Scott and Andrew,
I was very sad to hear the news of Craig's passing. Although we have been out of touch for many years I remember Craig not only as a caring brother in-law, but also as a fun-loving student at St. John's College.
My thoughts are with you all at this most sad and difficult time.
Most Sincerely
Barb
