I just got the letter in the mail today about Curt's passing and I am heartbroken. He was my car "dad. I started going to his Conoco around 2003 and I never went anywhere else. He always let me know what I should be looking out for to replace so I could budget and always went the extra mile to provide great service. I even had my nieces and nephew go to him. I also loved just stopping in for a chat and would bring homemade apple pumpkin bread and bratwurst. He was an honest, hardworking, caring guy and I will really miss him.

We were lucky to find Curt when we moved to Denver in 1993. Honest and hardworking, through the years he was our go-to-guy for all things auto. Maybe the very best you can say about someone at the end of the day is "He was a good man". Curt was that. He will be missed but not forgotten.

Curt was friendly, funny and caring. Always ready to lend a helping hand even when he wasn't feeling well. Honest and hard working- he will be missed by many. God bless you all. Hold dear, the memory of how much he loved his family and friends.

The last time I saw Curt he was smiling as he spoke of his new grandson Peyton.
I am so glad he got the opportunity to meet him. He will be missed.
