I will miss my dear friend.
We were very close "distant" friends after having grown up together in Denver and then being separated when I settled on the east coast after my stint in the Army. I look back fondly with memories of Dave attending school in the Washington, DC area and staying with us. The last we saw of each other was for our 40th high school reunion in 2005 when I spent the weekend at his lovely home and we had our own little reunion, visiting old haunts, neighborhoods, etc. While not always in direct contact with each other, there was a bond between us that we each understood. Somehow that connection suffered a lag and I was unaware of his passing until just now.
My heartfelt sympathy and prayers go out to his family. Although Dave is no longer with us physically, his spirit and love of life and love for those in it will always be a part of us.

David was a fun an exciting man. He loved the theater and to travel and will be greatly missed. I will remember the great times and vacations.

David was indeed one of the most kind, honest, intellegent, and sincere persons I have ever, and will ever know. I will always remember the time we spent together.

I remember David's striving for excellance - in his actuarial studies and work, in his writings, in his gardening. I am glad to have known him and have been associated with him at the Colorado Division of Insurance.
