Ed was such a great friend and neighbor -so much in fact that he seemed like a family member.
We'll miss you, Ed!

I always enjoyed seeing and talking with Ed at church on Sundays. He reminded me so much of my own aging father. He was a delight and loved to shake my hand and have me remind him who I was. It broke my heart when one Sunday he told me how he missed his wife, with tears streaming down his face. I too lost my spouse and could feel his pain. Now they are reunited, and we will all miss them dearly.

My life has been enriched by having Ed Knight in it for 32 years. Who is going to always pray for my girls the way Ed did? Just a few weeks ago at church Ed asked me, "did that youngest girl (Amy) ever get a new job?". He didn't want to talk about how he was doing, but always asked about me and my family. I already miss you my friend.
