My condolences to Eric’s family. I was fortunate enough to be mentored by Eric while at the North County Times Newspaper between 2002-2003. Whenever Eric came into town, I book all of his time and we did Dealer Client Visits together. Our conversations were deep and fun. I learned as much about life as I did about advertising and marketing while with Eric. I loved my time spent with him. I give Eric a lot of credit in becoming a President Club winner in my first year as an advertising rep. I think about him often. RIP Mr Macdougal

THE man, the myth, the legend. Eric was an amazing boss, coach, achiever. He was great to work for and knew how to motivate each person. At his core he was kind and humble with a gruff exterior. He will surely be missed. There will never be another like him. Prayers to Julie and Eric's family and loved ones.
