Hello Grandpa Mackintosh, I am writing this to tell you that I love you. Although we never met, I know you look over me every single day and make sure I am safe. My dad says you were an amazing person. I wish we will unite someday. I have always wanted to meet you, and I thought writing this will make sure you know that I love you very very much. I miss you, and although you are in a better place now, hope we will meet one day. I love you.
Sincerely your grandson, Freddie Mackintosh

Dear Dad,
It is truly hard to believe that nine months have gone by. How much it hurts to miss you so much. I have felt I am a strong woman, but it is difficult to be strong. I gather my strength from God and having memories of you Dad.
I still have your number on my phone. I wish I could call up to Heaven and talk like we use to. I do talk to you always. I feel you are near all the time. I can not imagine what Mom is going through. You are by her side calming her heart. I am so glad that you are pain free walking and whistling along all the loved ones that have passed.
I just wanted to write this to let everyone know how much you are missed Dad. I love you now, forever and always.

My dear friend, Therese and the Mackintosh family. It is with a heavy heart that I send you my sincere condolences. I have too many memories to list, but they will remain in my heart forever. I find myself laughing out loud, when I think back on all of the crazy things we used to try to get away with, only to be busted, and then doing something deviant again. Your Dad was a giant, yet gentle, sweet and funny. Thank you all for making me feel like part of the family. He will be missed greatly, but never forgotten...I love you all. God Bless.

My Dad touched the lives and hearts with everyone he came into contact with. I am his daughter Rafaelita. When I posted the first entry in this guest book, I failed to identify myself, I was just thinking of my Dad, he knows who I am. I cannot begin to discribe the void in my heart and in my life. I will always love and miss him so.

My dearest Dad, I just want to say that I love you so very much. You will be so very missed. I know I have said this in my private times with you, but I feel I must share this for all who read. My Dad was such a great man, great Dad, great husband to my Mom for the past 56 years, great brother, great Grandfather, great Uncle and great friend. Alright, he was again a great man. I will forever miss him so, he took great pride in all his accomplishments. Oh, Dad I know now that you are in a much better place free of pain, walking, whistling and enjoying your beautiful Home. Love you Dad,
Your secretary

Mr. Mackintosh was a big man with a big heart who always greeted me into his home with a big hug. He was the Patriarch of a truly warm, loving and beautiful family in which he was very proud. My deepest sympathy to the Family he loved so much.

Fred was very well liked by many. He was always a pleasure to talk to. When i first met Fred he was a participant at the day center where i worked as a temp. When I was done, He told me that he would be here when i get hired on permanantly. He did just that. He told me how proud he was of me for holding on. He will be missed by many. It was an honor to know such a great man. God bless you and your family.

Dearest Dad,
It is with a heavy heart that I am writing this to you. I am going to miss our conversations and your guiding advise, wisdom and patience that you always had with me. I will especially miss counting cars with you on the porch and enjoying a cool summer breeze, talking about every thing. I will miss hearing your voice and the smell of your cologne. You are no longer suffering my Dad, you are standing tall and walking with God, tending to the vast garden he has now put you in charge of. Thank you for teaching me the meaning of self respect, of giving from your heart and to never expect anything in return and not to take life so seriously. I will cherish the beautiful memories for the rest of my life. I love you Dad.
