NUBINE, MOTHER GURNEE V. : Mother Gurnee V. Nubine, 82, Denver. Wife of the late Bishop Chester Nubine, Sr. Four sons, two daughters, 33 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration Thursday, 10:00 a.m., Odom Memorial C.O.G.I.C., 3301 Williams St. To Conclude. Final Interment: Cheyenne Memorial Gardens Cheyenne, WY. Visitation: Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. Taylor Mortuary. PLEASE NOTE: Mother Nubine will lie in state on Thursday, 9-10 a.m. at the church.

To a woman who once was a friend, from a friend to a mother, from a mother to a mother in law:) Mother Nubine a woman after God's own heart, a woman that without fear of man, spoke what thus saith the Lord to all that she came into contact with.... I will always love you and miss you, you will always be a part of my life for the many nuggets you stored in my life, for the wisdom you shared with me, for the love and realness you had for God's word and people! I thank you for being led by God to build and prepare me for what God has in store for me. Thank you for being the obediant vessel chosen by God!!!
