Harold was my grandfather, Grandpa Harry. I remember how kind he and Grandma Lois always were. I know he had a fascinating military record.
I will always remember his smile, laugh and blue eyes.
I was 15 the last time I saw them. They came to Washington to visit. I was so proud to take my grandparents to dinner on my dime. Unfortunately, I had just been put on a new medication and fell asleep shortly after getting back to their hotel room. I woke up to them sitting on the other bed watching me.
I´m sad we moved away and didn´t get more time with them. I´m sad I didn´t get to spend time with them as an adult or introduce them to my children.
I will always treasure my time and memories.

We knew Harold for a short time whilst visiting his daughter, Christine, but had heard many wonderful things about him before then from her.
A true gentleman who helped make our time in Denver so special.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Lois and the family.
Thank you Harold for being the inspiration you were and willl continue to be. You are sorely missed.

Harold was the ultimate Denver Bronco fan and had more team toys than any other human. Harold actually had a square of "Mile High Stadium" turf planted into his back yard. It was known as the "sacred sod" as we were all sure John Elway had surely stepped on it.

He was always cheerful and positive. He was thoughtful of others and had an infectious smile and laugh. Harold will truly be missed by all who knew him.
