Jack was my sons father in law. When I met him, we became instant friends and always had great stories to swap. His were allways better and funnier than mine. I miss him and think of him often.

Diane and I met Jack briefly at Walter & Amy's wedding at the ranch. We remember Jack and Katie as a great hosts and his wit and humor will always be remembered. The first time we met, Jack gave me his Colorado Avalanche hat as a memento of our trip to his home state. Our condolences to the entire family.

My cousin Jack was an important memory for me. I have very fond memories of him, including him taking me on a delivery at the bakery - I felt so grown-up. Of course his relationship with my Dad was so important to Dad, a coach with three daughters. Like all the Hoppers Jack was a great story teller and had plenty of yarn to spin.
To his family I send condolences, love and hope you find solace knowing the impact Jack had on so many people.

Jack and my Dad played football together at DU. In the past, I had opportunity to play golf with Jack, and although we didn't agree on some things, Jack was always good-natured and cool to be around. And he had an awesome bump and run approach to the green. Godspeed, Jack-

There was a disturbance in the "life force" when I heard that Jack had passed away. Many good memories of working with Jack flashed back during my days at Newport/Klinger. It was a privilege to have known him. I extend my heartfelt sympathy to his family during this time of mourning yet encourage all to find peace in the celebration of a good man who lived life fully.

We lost our father, but not the memories of his love for his grandchildren, all of the animals in his life and anyone who would listen (repeatedly) to a good yarn.

Jack was in my High School graduating class in l950 from Central High in Pueblo. Remember him as a very nice person. Always a great smile and Hello. Not the typical conceited football member. I am sure you will miss him as he is special. My family went to their bakery at the Junction. Bless you all.
