James Grisenti Obituary

James Benjamin Grisenti, a life-long Denver resident, died of cancer Feb. 9. He was 84. He was born Dec. 6, 1931, at St. Anthony's Hospital, the son of John B. and Annie C. Grisenti. Along with his wife, Claudia, Jim is survived by his two daughters, two sons-in-law, and seven grandchildren: Andreatta and Bruce Geerdes of Broomfield and their children, Georgia and Samuel; and Adrienne and Joshua Havey of Wheat Ridge and their children, Ruth, Josephine, Anna, Mary, and James. His sister Florence (Bob) Warren and numerous relatives also survive him. His parents and his sisters Violet Serravo and Ann Domenico preceded him in death. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 17. Interment will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Please share memories at HoranCares.com.

I'm very sad to hear of Jim's passing. I remember when the APA Goose was held in Denver and a bunch of us visited JIm's print shop. He never stopped smiling because everyone there loved it.
