To me, Jason was the kid next door, literally. Together, we dreamed of many childhood fantasies. Jason’s parents moved next door when Jason was a small baby, and by the time he was 2 years old, we began an innocent, 10+ year friendship. We spent endless hours together building imaginary race cars, playing chase with neighborhood friends, and talking late into the evenings on the front porch. As a child, Jason had energy—energy to create fun, but sometimes questionable, mischief. For a short time, Jason’s mother provided daycare for my sister and I, and while in her care, Jason encouraged us to live dangerously! We managed to knock down the family Christmas tree playing "keep away," break a lamp from rough housing, briefly got stuck in an elevator due to improper use, and released the emergency brake on a parked car to watch it roll and hit another car, etc., and yet we never get caught—or so we thought? In spite of everything, this creative mischief is what makes memories. I am blessed to have had such a wonderful childhood friend—something everyone needs to experience. Jason will be held closely within my heart and memories forever!

Although I had just recently had the oportunity to meet Jason, we shared serveral common interests one of which was music! You are now in Rock-n-Roll heaven with jimmy, janis, jim, elvis, and the best of the rest including stevie ray! Send me some new guitar riffs now that you are amongst the best ever! To my best bud who was always so close, yet so far. The pathway that you brought through my eyes and my path always kept you near no matter how far. This will not change. You are you and I am Yahmie. Your friend on the other side. May you rest peacefully next to God who watches over his children. Love Always,Yahmie
