Jane (Mrs. Hansen to me) was my friends'/schoolmates', Pete and Kass's mom. I spent many times over at the Hansens' and was always treated with generous hospitality (and entertainment). I recall Mrs. Hansen used to shuttle Pete and all his buddies (before we could drive) and always engaged us in "our brand" of conversation. I will always remember Mrs. Hansen's hilarious dry wit, charm and directness! She was very cool!

Your mom was a wonderful women who touched countless lives. I did not see her much in the later years, but I do remember her zest for life and her spunk. She and your dad raised a wonderful family, with the true meaning of the word "family". I am so sorry for your grief at this time but just remember, Jane's spirit is always with you. My love to all, Jody Baker

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your incredible mother, Jane. She raised a wonderful family and touched the lives of many people. It has been a long time since I have seen your mother Jane but I remember her as a real Special Mom with a very happy, loving husband and children. Grandmother, you are such an inspiration to me. I am such a lucky girl to have had a Grandmother such as yourself. I hope I live up to be half the woman you are. I will always love you and and miss you deeply. I promise to take care of myself, use the brain you gave me, have fun and look good doing it. Love you Grandmother.

What a wonderful example you are. Married to a loving husband for almost 60 years, raised five successful children and loved to make everyone laugh. You always made me feel welcome, and your home was a save place to discuss my life adventures without fear of judgement. You did know how to jokingly try to embarrass me, but I never let you know, that sometimes it worked! Much love to the entire family. I love you all, Wendy Kollenkark Holt
