For Joe,
You will be gone a year today. I miss you so much. If anything, you have taught me how important it is to live in the moment and to cherish your loved ones.
You have led a rich life full of adventures. I am thankful I was able to share some of those moments with you.
Joe, my family and I love you very much.
Your niece,

I am very sorry for your loss. Only time will help lessen the pain of loss, as I found with the loss of my sister. I believe they are in a better place.

We would like to give our sympathies to the Joey Giebler family. Joey was our 1st cousin. We're sorry to say that we never really got to know him. But from what I read in the guest book, he was a wonderful person. Also give our sympathies to Naomi, Lloyd and LaRhoda. You and your family will be in our prayers. Aunt Amelia Giebler and family.

Luanne and family,
I didn't know Joe well, but I can tell you that each morning that he came in to Starbucks to get his coffee he was always so pleasant, and always had a smile on his face. He would speak of his family with great pride and joy, he loved you all so much. Luanne, my heart is heavy for you. I cannot begin to comprehend the saddness you are feeling at the loss of your husband, best friend, lover, partner in life, father of your children...I'm SO sorry. Please know if there's anything you need I would be happy to do. Joe was a very warm, kind human being and always lightened up our mornings when he came into the store. I pray that Gods peace will be with you all through this devistating loss. Our love and prayers go out to you!

Bill(cousin Billy) and I loved Joe so much. The twinkle in his eye when he was telling a great story or especially talking about his family, we will never forget. His love of his family and music was an inspiration. We never heard him say an unkind word about anyone. We will truly miss spending time with him on our trips to Denver and all the great food and wine he introduced us to. Bill will never listen to Pat Metheny without thinking of Joe who turned him onto Pat. We love you Luanne, Dani, Erika, and Alex. Joe loved you all more than life itself.
Love,
Bill and Lisa

To Joe, my best friend. Thank you for your smile, thank you for your style. We shared music, but more than that we shared time and a love for something greater than ourselves. I will always cherish our friendship. Cyndi and I listened to a message tonight from Sept. 24th. Great to hear your voice, and I will not erase that message. To Luann, Erika, Danielle and Alex, Joe was all around you today and will always be, he tells me so. Listen with your heart and his heart you will know. We love you and are here for you. Joe was my favorite playing partner ever. We were in Red Hot and Blue - I think it was the early 80's- and I loved his way with Blues- his clear and strong vocals- his drive. Today I regret more than anything losing Joe- I always wanted to get back to playing again with him but life and work and family kept me busy.
(or so I thought) I think I was the one who showed him "In Christ There Is No east Or West" and when it was played at the funeral I just lost it. Thanks for everything, Joe. You were my hero.
I Loved ya-Man!
You done good!

Dear Mr. Giebler,
I remember all the fun times that I had with you and Alex. It was great when you and Lou were our coaches. It was so much fun when you took us to your business to shoot paintballs. I admired your musical talent. I will be here for Alex whenever he needs a friend.

Luanne,Danielle,Ericka and Alex - Joe was a wonderful, remarkable person. He touched a lot of lives. He is was kind, talented, funny and never judged, something very rare now a days. He would be what we call a free spirit. He loved his family and last time we spoke he was so happy and in love. Dani, Ericka and Alex I know he was so proud of all of you, you could see it in his face when he mentioned your names. We will cherish all the memories. There is beautiful music playing in heaven with guitarist Joe Giebler. You will be missed!

My sincere condolences to Joe's family. I met Joe this summer through music at the Buffalo Rose. It was immediately obvious to me that Joe was a kind and positive person and I believe that we were on track to becoming close friends. I feel very fortunate to have met him. Rest in peace Joe.
