I was thinking back to my days at Metro State of Denver and did a search for the professor that started me on my professional career as an Industrial Psychologist. I am saddened to see Dr Jack Hesson's obituary. He was a wonderful person, that clearly lived life to its fullest every day he was blessed to see the sun. I credit Dr. Hesson for introducing me to the field of IO Psychology and getting me started on the road to graduate school.
Thanks Jack!

I'm John D Ball III, originally of Montgomery County PA, searching for my ancestors and cousins, I have reasons to belive that this good man was my Father's second cousin. My Father's mother was Genevieve (nee Reilly) Ball (1905-1973), and her Mother was Mary Hesson (c.1865-1918, died in the Flu epidemic), daughter of John Hesson (my gg-grandfather) born in or near Tamlaght Ireland 1840, emigrated with his parents William Hesson and Matilda (nee Archie) to Philadelphia in 1847.

Will always remember Wayne's log cabin, Greenwich Village, free plays and shopping for Christmas trees in the snow. At 24 years of age every day was an adventure. Will remember you always and keep you in my prayers. Love, Diana

"I'm a lucky man who can count all his friends on two hands,
Some folks just have one,
Others not even one... ."

If you counted "Jack" as a friend, you didn't need any more.
He was a brother, a wise counsellor, and, truly, someone who influenced so many lives in ways he could not imagine.

I count registering for one of his classes as among the best decisions I've ever made.

"And when he shall die,
Take him and make him into little stars.
For he shall make the face of heaven so shine,
All the world will be in love with night,
And pay no worship the garish sun.
