Joseph Gargan Obituary

Passed away suddenly on December 3, 2009, surrounded by family and friends. Survived by his loving wife, Ruth; 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 4 siblings and many friends. Visitation, Sunday, Dec. 6, from 2 - 7 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave., Aurora. Funeral Mass, Monday, Dec. 7, at 2 PM at Our Lady of Loreto, 18000 E. Arapahoe Rd., Foxfield, 80016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Foundation for the Prevention of School Violence, 7150 Montview Blvd., Denver, 80220.

To the Gargan family, We were so sorry to hear about Joe's passing. He was so good to our Brendan making him an honorary member of the 1013 Club.. Brendan has the placque that Joe gave him, honoring the 1013 and NYPD, hanging prominently in our family room where everyone can see it. We will keep your family in our prayers.
