Lindiwe Khali Obituary

Lindiwe Ann Khali, age twenty-one passed on to a more peaceful existence on September 12, 2006. She was loved by her mother (Mommy-O) Nancy Papke, aunt (2nd mom) Laurie Cocharo, cousins (brothers) Scott and Dan Cocharo, and friend (step-dad) Dennis Kuzins, as well as her grandparents Jerry and Bonnie Papke, cousins Kyle and Andy Papke, Lauren and Lee Andersen, aunts and uncles Russ and Susan Papke, Bob Andersen, and Matt Cocharo. Lindiwe was also loved by more friends than one could count. Lindiwe's kind heart, giving nature, and bright smile touched the lives of everyone who was lucky enough to meet her. She was dedicated to helping her friends. Lindiwe and her family hope that her life may inspire those struggling in their existence, such as she did, to celebrate their inner beauty and turn their lives towards the miracle of life and self acceptance. The Celebration of Lindiwe's Life will include lunch, music and the sharing of memories. It will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at 12:00 noon. We will gather at Belleview Park (Pavillion #4). Those planning to attend should bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. In lieu of flowers, donations are being accepted in Lindiwe's name by Urban Peak, 730 21st St. Denver, Colorado 80205, http://www.makechangedenver.org.

Lindiwe and Family...
how unforeseen instances bring individuals together-- I was in girl scouts several years ago with Lindiwe as a young child. To this day I recall her warm disposition and smile. My family extends their deepest sympathies. Love,

Lindiwe,
I feel so lucky to have been your mother. I learned so much from you and your life. I am a better person because of the things you taught me. You taught me to be less judgemental, more openminded and even how to blow bubble gum bubbles. I have taken your lessons to heart and hope that others are doing the same. I miss you, but know that you are now at peace. You always said you only had beautiful friends. I hope that all your friends are finding the beauty within themselves so that they can reach their full potential, whatever that might be. I miss you.
Love,
Mommy

Lindiwe, such a beautiful soul! SHe brought joy into the lives of everyone that crossed her path, and there is not one person that she met that is not a better person for having met her. Being lucky enough to know her for 11 of her 21 years, I know that she touched me in so many ways. She will be greatly missed yet NEVER forgotten! I love you girl!!! Thanks for teaching me to embrace who I am!

Lindiwe,

In Zulu, your name means "have waited." Know that you no longer have to wait for the inner peace and love that you searched for because you are now in a place of complete peace and love. You are and always will be loved by your family and friends.
