Lucille LaRhea Norris Mahaffey was born on her family farm near Eagle, NE on Jan 8, 1922 to Raymond and Nelda Norris. She is survived by her brother, Richard and sister, Joanne, her husband, Paul Richard Mahaffey, daughter Lou Anne and husband Michael Mueri of Seward, NE and Carol Sue and husband Jim Pollock of Centennial. She has six grandchildren and three great-grandkids. She attended Wesleyan University in Lincoln, NE and worked at the State Capitol. Her career as an executive secretary for Guaranty National Insurance ended upon her retirement at age 75. She was proud of her later-in-life career as a fashion model, completely appropo for such a classy lady. Her passions in life included playing piano and organ, dancing, singing, shopping and shopping some more. Her idols were Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor and her own local Frank Sinatra, Derek. She loved her family and the many dogs and cats that touched her life. A celebration of Lucille's life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Parker Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 9030 Miller Rd, Parker, CO.
