To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Today, My Mother is more than ever on my mind, she was and always will be the most genuine person in my life that taught me and quided me closer to what she truly believed in that is love for our Lord and her family which meant the world to her, and if each and every member of our family could remember this, our lifes here on earth will be more meanifull and blessed by our Mother and the Holy Spirit and we all will grant her the only wish she ever asked for from her family, we can not take material things with us , but we can take our promise we gave her to love each other unconditionally, as our Lord loves us. Mother I TRULY MISS YOU!!! love your daughter Angela

DEAR Mama

I've become more aware how loving and caring and thoughtful my God is, because he gave me to you. Once upon a time God picked me and said: " My child you indeed will learn to love me more than life itself, but not without the tender loving guidance of a special person who I've chosen to be your mother". Thank you for being my mama and thank you for never letting me go astray with negative thoughts. but always helping me to keep my Dear Lord in my heart,as you will always be "MAMA". I thank you for being my mother, my teacher and friend. I'll be coming home soon to you mama.

Your eldest daughter Mary.

PS Say hi to Mr. B for me please. Continue to pray for me Mama.

To my sister Mary, Juanita, late sister Dolores and Angelita, Do you remember girls when every Saturday night mama would curl our hair with white rags? We looked just like little aliens running around. What a sight!!! On Sunday morning we were the finished products of little LuLu Bells with long black curls bouncing from one end to the other. I can remember how she taught us to polish our lttle white shoes and put them all in a perfect little row. It looked like an assembly line. Mom and Dad were strict with us, but they never stopped us from doing what we loved best and that was singing. Mama allowed us to go on our front porch and sing before we went to bed and just being a little 7 year old little girl at that time I remember watching mama's shadow through the front window as we were all singing and could not figure out why she waddled all the time but to my amazement I finally figured it out when my beautiful sister and brother Gabriella and John were born and then followed Ricardo, Margurite and Mario; I realized how much our precious mother loved children. As I look back I know now that you don't have to have a mother to be a good Mom. I just want to thank the Lord for blessing us with a mom who knew how to trust God with her family. She was truly beautiful inside and out and I know that we all are missing her very much. Thank you mom for loving us and teaching us never to be ashamed of your first love which is our Lord JESUS

I will love you forever. Anita Sanchez

Growing up in a state so far away from my grandma and grandpa and my extended family makes the captured memories that I have extremely cherishable. We would drive out from Illinois every summer for an extended stay, and grandma's warm home and heart is at the heart of my memories. I always knew on the drive out that I would not only feel a satisfied tummy for 2 or 3 weeks, but I would feel the presence of a godly woman as well. Grandma never hid her faith, her prayers, her Jesus or her Bible. And she NEVER let us leave her home to venture out on our long road trip home without kneeling before my family in gracious words of prayer for our safe return. She was a true angel on earth who just radiated love in a very rare way. I want her to know that her life was a gift to her many children and grandchildren, and she will never be forgotten.

All my love, Sandy, Rami, Lexi, Nicholas and new baby boy.

Your smiling face, your kind and big heart, you are such an amazing and wonderful lady. You have been such an inspiration to me on my Catholic Journey. It is you that I think about through my journey and even though you are not here physically I know you will be with me at my Baptismal. I will always cherish the Bible and the spiritual momentos you gave to me. I love you & miss you. Love, Trina

Mother, yesterday was Thanksgiving,It was a difficult day for your daughters and sons &their families, but I am sure the you brought many smiles upon our faces, and talking about our holidays together as a family, I missed the big dining table for the grown ups,the kitchen table for the teens and by far yes the dining room steps for little ones, and yet their was a steady stream of relatives and friends way into the evening, and yet always made everyone feel welcome, not once showing any signs of fatigue after cooking and cleaning days before.Mom there were times my sons and I were struggling to make ends meet always around the holidays of course the boys could not wait to go to Grandma & Granpas and fill their tummies and play with all the cousins, and still after all was fed, you would tell anyone please take some food home, I still cannot believe how was there so much left, you once told me if you have one slice of bread and hungry people to feed the Lord will make sure everyone eats, I learned that from you, and you said your cubbords wil never be empty, Mother that is so true, you taught me to generous with food and love for all who enter my home, on this Thanksgiving day I am thankful to the Lord to be blessed with such a elegant, generous loving, I could go on and on , but mere words cannot express how wonderful you are. love & kisses your daughter Angie the nickname you gave me (AKA)scatterbrain daughter

Our grandmother was one of the strongest, most spiratually well-balanced women I've ever known in my entire life. If ever asked what lessons could be learned from her life, for me it would be that you could temper any emotion in life through the simplicity of prayer. The memories of Grandma are many, and thankfully live visually within us ...From putting Grandpa in his place (in a loving way), to baking hot homemade tortilla's on the oven. From allowing us to drink Strawberry or Grape soda's from the back fridge, to providing us counsel and advice on life issues at the round kitchen table with puffy soft chairs. From her "bowling bag" purse of the early days, to more recent visits with that same type of purse and sheer weighted volume. From our summer trips to Colorado, to the service trips up Mother Cabrini Shrine. And later in adulthood as we developed our own family's, independence, and surely many generations to follow, the blessings she gave in our own homes which made us all sleep better at night. But through all the years and special memories we each possess, the attributes which always stood out to me was this genuine, gentle smile that spoke volumes about her true peace in life. She never forgot anyone, made time for all, and managed her incredible life through Jesus Christ. Her eternal place has been set, and it must be something extraordinary. God Bless- Ron, Trina, Ella and Anjolie.

Dear Jesus

I know that Mama is in your hands now and living with you in heaven according to your word So I am asking you to tell her how much I miss her. Please tell her Lord for listening to the many things I learned about you and how unconditional your love is. Tell her I had to wash the red blanket that she covered with and that it brought many tears to my eyes because I would never smell her beautiful presence again. You promised me Lord that if I follow you and have no other Gods before me that I will get to see Mama again along side of you. Thank you Jesus for giving me a mother that loved you and was not ashamed of you. Thank you with all my heart. Your daughter in Crist and your daughter Anita

When I was a young boy, I remember what it was like to be a family. We played togehter, sang together, ate together, but most of all prayed together. This is what we knew. If it wasn't for our strong belief that our parents showed us, we would not have been a family then. As I grew older I wanted to be just like the man my father was a strong, firm, believer in God, family man. Since he is gone and our mother is passed, how can I keep my family from straying away? All I want is my family to love & accept each other, just like my father & mother wanted us to be...A BIG HAPPY FAMILY! Help me to keep our family together.

Love & miss you Mother & Father!

For Those I Love

When I am gone, release me.....

Let me go find out all that I can be.

You must not tie yourself to me with tears,

Be happy GOD gave us these precious years.

I gave you love, You can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.

I thank you for the love you each have shown,

But now is the time for me to travel on my own.

Grieve awhile for me, as grieve you must.

Then let your grief be comforted by the trust in knowing that it is for a while that we must part;

So bless the memories that lay within your hearts.

If you need me call, I will be there,

Though you cannot see me or touch me,

If you listen with your heart, you will hear

all my love around you so soft and clear.

And then when you must make this journey

I will greet you with a smile and say,

"WELCOME HOME"

I am a dear friend of Summer Valdez, Mrs. Morales-Zuniga's granddaughter. I did not have the opportunity to meet this incredible woman but Summer expressed enough about her that revealed how special she was. I know she was deeply saddened upon her illness as I'm sure everyone was. I'm sorry to hear she has gone. My condolences go out to the family & may God be your strength at this difficult time.

We know Mario and Louise Morales and wish them well during this difficult period. There will always be an empty hole now where a mother belongs, but I'm sure her presence will still be there long after the body is gone. Concentrate on that and she will help you through all times. Jim and I send our prayers and thoughts.
