Gerry, I was so sorry when I read that your wife, Judy, had died. I remember her and fondly remember the days your and I spent working together at Martin Marietta. We hope you are well.

Gerry I was so sorry to read in the newsletter of Judy's death. She was indeed a very special person, I remember her well after all these years. Pancreatic cancer is a bad thing. My son in law died of it just 5 years ago when his children were 3,10 and 12. The whole familyhas been active in the Cancer Relay for Life and his oldest daughter who is now 16 wants to go into medicine. She has been working as a high school student in the cancer research lab at Stanford - where her dad passed away. My heart goes out to you - by looking at the pictures you have a strong family support system. My best to you! Jackie Yamahiro

What a funny, feisty, loving and smart woman. Although I did not know Judy long, I know I will never forget her.

Sorry

Dear Uncle Gerry and Family,

We just wanted to express our condolences to you all as you celebrate Judy's life today. We so wish we could be there. She will always live on in our hearts and especially for her famous ride on Tim's Harley.   She had shyly asked him for a ride the year before up in Osseo but rain kept it from happening that year. He never forgot and was very anxious to make good on his promise to give her that ride. We actually looked forward to it for the entire year. REALLY. It was a mission he took very seriously.  Tim was so honored that she felt safe with him and will never forget what a "treat" it was for him too. She will always have a very special place in our hearts. She was such a special lady and she will always have a very special place in our hearts.

This is my favorite verse for times like these so I wanted to share it with you because I truly believe it.

"Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
still loved, still missed and forever dear."

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Jane, Tim & Family

Gerry, The photos remind me that it was hard to find a time when Judy wasn't smiling, and she had the most infectious laugh when she was really tickled. John remembers Judy clicking down the tiled halls at Martin in her high heels, pony tail bouncing behind her. She was energetic and happy, upbeat and enthusiastic, tomboyish and competitive, and she always had fun and made life fun for those around her. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. Love, John and Donna Cashen

Bowling in the same league as Judy and Jerry since 1994, I can say that Judy was truly one of the friendliest people I have known, always with a smile on her face. Things will be a little emptier without her.
