To Don and Betty, as well as to Dean's wife and children, and to Shelly: I am so, so sorry for your loss. I remember Dean as a young man; Don was always so proud to tell us of the latest accomplishments of both Dean and Shelly. I hope that Father Mike's words from the lovely service last week will resonate with you: Dean is at peace now, and we all need to remember to ask for help in understanding our despair and loss. Dean leaves a beautiful family as his legacy.

Dean, you brought so much passion to everything you did. You shared this passion with the kids you coached and the friends and teammates fortunate to have played with you.
Thank you for all you have done for the Wheat Ridge soccer community and all you have done for all our children.

Dean helped our Cub Scout Pack in so many ways. He was always ready to come along side and help a scout. I am grateful to have known him for the brief 3 years he was a part of our pack. He will be missed.

Libbie,
Catherine just called and told us the sad news. We can't say we know what you are going through. We have never gone through anything like this.
We remember Dean as being a generous helping hand. He was a big help when we moved to Arvada. His help was much appreciated as he set up our phone line for us. We remember him helping Catherine (our elderly neighbor for those who don't know) by shoveling her walk.
The PT Cruiser was a very cool car and we often talked about it and the Cruiser club.
We are very sorry for your loss.

To the entire Miller Family, you are in our thoughts. Little man Aaron, please know how much all the boys in your class (and their parents!) love you and want to help support you through this. Kyle especially is concerned for you and is looking forward to seeing you and giving you a great big hug. Lib - your support system is much wider than you can imagine and please know how much we're thinking of you and how much support we're ready to give when you're ready. It takes a village and we're standing by. Dean - may you find the peace that you seek. To all, never let a day go by without telling those around you just how much they are loved and valued. Sometimes they don't hear it, but at least we've done our part to express it.
