Don't let a day go by without telling those people that loved you, cried with you, and laughed with you how much they mean to you!! Thanks Noel and keep watching out for me... I'm doing GOOD.

Noel,

This is for you and for your family so that they may know of the HUGH impact you have on the lives of my parents Ronald and Ann Terrell. The warmth, comfort and love usually found with family and in the kitchen was what you gave to them every Saturday for lunch for about eight or nine years or more. Sometimes special occasions like New Years Eve, theater shows, Christmas and you catered meals to the hospital for Mom's surgery. How they love Strings and being together on Saturday afternoons, just the feeling of the place. I was there with them when the Pope was here. How Dad and Mom loved seeing you and your wife, helping at the annual Christmas parties for kids, the cream of asparagus soup and the blacked chicken that you had made for them even when it wasn't on the menu.

Strings always meant good things and happy times to them. Every child wants that for their parents, something good. Thank you Noel, for being their “something good.” They loved you and will miss you very much.

I pray for strength and peace for your family and thank you so much Noel for your gift of love to my parents.

If I had to label someone as a true, geniune friend who never wanted anything in return, it was NOEL, a man who gave so much to so many less fortunate people. There is no one like you and I will miss you tremendously. RIP Buddy!

Where ever a BEAUTIFUL SOUL has been. A trail of beautiful memories have been left behind.

I am one of those fortunate people to have known Noel, not only as my boss but my friend and mentor...He taught me so much about the person I wanted to be, both personally and professionally. I cannot begin to sum up in a few words what Noel meant to me. I started working for Noel at Ciao! Baby when it opened...Noel truely knew what the meaning of Customer Service was...It was all about the other... person...Noel always had time for everyone else and he absolutely adored Tammy. He made me believe in TRUE LOVE. I have so many fantastic memories and I am very grateful for those. All the Christmas Parties with the kids and Jim White as Santa, what a great feeling you instilled in me. The look on those kid's faces when Santa arrived by Helicopter to Ciao! Baby will always be ingrained in my head, as well as every Mother's Day for the Mama at Strings. Thank you Noel for allowing me into your life. I probably never thanked you properly...May you rest in peace and may God bless and look over everyone that you were always looking after....Please continue to guide and look over all of us who loved you dearly....Suzi

Dear Tammy and Family,

My sincerest condolences go out to all of you. We have truly lost a great man with a heart as big as Colorado. I don't know if you remember me, but I taught Jocelyn and Stephanie in 2nd and 3rd grade at Cottonwood. I always enjoyed seeing you and Noel and admired the love and the gift of yourselves that you gave to the girls. He will be missed.

Once upon a time I worked for "Chef". I entered his world with little appreciation for my sous chef talents, because based on my life experiences I thought I was supposed to be doing more with my life than satisfying special requests for 200 people a night. Chef showed me a different world where a sous chef can bring meaning to his employment by helping the less fortunate with service to one's community. While I left to pursue my own passions, I knew if I ever decided to be dumb and open a restaurant, I had been provided an example of how I would want to operate a community restaurant. I always thought I had "an out" if I needed it, because Chef would be available as my mentor. Now I don't have that crutch, but I do have the example that he set in motion. Long live his memory.

Dearest Tammy,
Ken & I are extremely sorry to hear of Noel's passing. He was a man with such a big Irish heart and always a wonderful smile.
He will never be forgotten.
You both did so much for our fundraisers for The Compassionate Friends. You both are amazing people.
I remember how he made you "Tammy" smile when your heart was sad a few years ago.
You made him very, very happy!
If you should ever need an ear or a shoulder, you can always call us.
With Love & Prayers,
Ken & Vicki Dirschl

My deepest sympathies go out to Tammy and all of Noels family and countless friends. As the manager of the former travel agency near 240 Union, I had the privilege of booking the flight which brought Noel to Denver. A golden heart stopped beating. Hard working hands to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. He will be greatly missed.

December 7, 2011

Tammy,

To the family and the friends of Noel, I did not know him personally but was touched by him more than once.I want to share this story because I want to help you remember the way he helped so many people with out even knowing it. As a nurse at a nearby hospital I once had a patient who was terminal. He wanted to supprise his wife with a special day and renew thier vows.Noel donated a beautiful meal for a romantic dinner and brought it to the hospital for this couple. It was beautiful, not only nourishing the body but nourishing the soul. What a gift to that couple and also to every person there and what a great loss for you. Neal will never be forgottenand my prayers for comfort are with you and your family.

December 7, 2011

Tammy ... My thoughts and prayers are for the comfort and peace for you and both families. Noel was and is a "true light" and blessing to the world. He showed us how to open our hearts to receive and serve others - Noel is a humble servant. The work you and Noel did is now archived and manifested in thousands of hearts. I am thankful that many years ago our paths met and I instantly knew I was face to face with one who teaches the world how to give, serve and love. Thomas Jones

Tammy. . . Our sincere sympathy to you and family on Noel's passing. It is certainly, at times, more than one can handle but we somehow prevail.
I want you to know Tammy, that you and all the family are in our prayers.
And just remember Tammy, that even though he lived in a most loving and wonderful environment with his beloved family and friends - it is a most wonderful place he goes to - than he has ever seen and a far, far better place than he has ever been.
'God Bless you.'

A true Irish host, always able to stroke an ego. Noel never failed to tell me how America needed more advocates for the working folk and thanked me for being one each time we met. My guess is he similarly encouraged many in a variety of vocations! He'll be sorely missed!

Our heart goes out to Tammy & the family/friends during this difficult time. We only met Noel once, but he was so friendly and had a twinkle in his beautiful eyes, we will always remember him as the man who captured Tammy's heart.
