One of the best men I have ever known. A source of much happiness.

What I remember about Peter is his amazing ability to connect with people. Whether it was one-on-one or a group setting his ability to communicate was his gift. As a former athlete, I could relate to his Mentally Tough message intimately. I also remember Peter saying, "the shortest distance between two people is a sense of humor." Thank you, Peter, for making us all remember that relationships matter. I will see you in Heaven, brother.

I'm so sorry to hear of Peter's passing. He taught me so much about looking for/creating the silver lining and I can still hear his contagious laughter. He has a very bright spot in my memories and I know he will be dearly missed. My thoughts and well wishes to his family.

I had the extreme pleasure to have worked with both Peter and Peter, Jr. Years ago, when their book Catch Fire first came out. I am so saddened to hear of his passing and will always carry fond memories of him and smile, as that was the effect he had on me and many. As we worked, we always found time to laugh, and even play some tennis on our "lunch hour". I will also carry on the Carpe Diem phrase with me. Peters message in his speeches were so powerful that his voice rings in my head on occasion when I am in need of some good advice. He was a great person who will be missed. My heart goes out to his family. You all are in my thoughts.

I would like to express my sympathy over the loss of Peter. What a talented and humorous guy from a great Park Hill family. I thought the celebration of Peter's life was a wonderful tribute. Great and touching speeches. He will be missed by so many. He left an example of the joy in living for us to follow. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

I first met Peter in 1966 and was always amazed at his ability to communicate about his passions. Anyone who knew him knows what I'm talking about, so no need to elaborate here. Peter and I last shared breakfast about three months ago (well, not exactly - we each had our own meal), talked about the concepts in his latest book, caught up on intervening years and planned to get together again in a few weeks. I thoroughly enjoyed his company, as always.
Perhaps the most important moment of that last breakfast, however, was the way he shared his love for his children and his pride in their accomplishments as adults. John, Peter and Jennifer: he really had you solidly embedded in his heart. I am so sorry for your loss, but you will always cherish the memories of this special man you called "dad." His love and spirit will always be at your side.

I met Peter in the 80's when he was on KVOD Radio in Larimer Square doing a show on Wine. He was a charismatic fabulous individual and someone I fell in love with. The memories keep flooding back about my time with Peter - The Symphony Run, Tante Louise, The Wine Shop, etc. He had so much energy and enthusiasm for life. It was a pleasure to know him and have him in my life. I am a better person for knowing Peter. He will be missed and I am raising a glass of red to his memory! God Bless his children and grandchildren. Love and Hugs, Marti Martin

Peter was grateful, gracious and extremely gregarious. I will miss his orientation to hard work requiring hard play, and a smile that was available to everyone. I am grateful for having passed thru his orbit.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Peters family. He did so much Raising money for the then Denver Symphony during the symphony run sponsored By KVOD, and was a regular at Tante Louise. He will live on in our hearts and fond memories! Holly Arnold Kinney-

I was so saddened to hear of Peter's passing. He had an open, generous spirit that immediately warmed people to him and helped set them at ease with both themselves and one another. I was fortunate to take one of Peter's classes this past year and enjoyed his words of wisdom punctuated with his quick wit and even quicker smile. He will be missed.

Dear Peter,
You have finally died of nothing like your Dad said you would. God rest your soul. I will have a glass of wine in your memory and have a Mass said too!

For all the times you had a quick smile, a word of encouragement, and supportive advice, I'm indebted to you. My only hope is that I can pass along a fraction of all the good advice you gave me over the years. I'll miss you, my friend. Ann Vanderslice

Peter -
Dear colleague & friend!
May I give you some feedback? :)
You're like a fine wine:
Balanced - Having all natural elements in good harmony
Big - Full of body and flavour
Brilliant - Bright and sparkling in appearance so that one can see the light through the wine
The light will always shine in your memory.
In Peace & Love,
Gay
