Peter Nordstrom Obituary

Peter Richard Nordstrom died tragically and unexpectedly on January 17, 2019 at the age of 34. He is survived by his loving parents, Julie Nordstrom and Craig Nordstrom (Sandra Yukes) and his three brothers, Barrett (Kate), Andrew (Becka), and Mark. Peter will be forever missed by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Peter grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and attended Newton North High School. He spent his summers in Lee, Massachusetts where he loved to climb Monument Mountain, swim in the backyard, play wiffleball with his brothers and attended Tanglewood concerts where is dad performed in the Boston Symphony Orchestra Peter graduated from Fitchburg State University in 2007 with a degree in Business. He had a natural calling for the mountains and moved to Colorado after college. Most recently, he was living in Lakewood. Peter was happiest snowboarding at Copper Mountain, off-roading in his jeep, bowling with friends, and hiking with his rescue dog, Timber. Peter's family and friends will always remember him for his kind soul, his sense of humor, his love for the great outdoors, enjoying a good cup of coffee, and his endearing smile. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Expression of sympathy may be made in Peter's memory to either, Samaritans, 41 West Street, 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02111 or Harmony Foundation, 1600 Fish Hatcher Road, Estes Park, CO 80517.
