Richard Nichols Obituary

NICHOLS, RICHARD S. Richard "Rick" S. Nichols, of Estes Park was born in Denver on April 22, 1958. He passed away on May 30, 2002. Rick is survived by his wife Lynne; two sons Richard Daniel and Benjamin Mark; grandmother Edith Songer; mother Darlene James; step-father Doyle James; father Dick Nichols; brothers Brad and Cameron; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Rick will be remembered for his dedicated service to the National Park Service, his devotion to his family and friends, and the quiet strength of his spirit. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, June 7 at the Moraine Park campground amphitheater at Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Richard Nichols Memorial Fund at Boulder Valley Credit Union, P.O. Box 4049, Estes Park 80517-4049.
