Robert Halford Obituary

Bob died peacefully September 17, 2017. He was married three times: to Bette Liston 1941-1964; to Rosalie Seale until her death 1967-1987, and to Roma Therrell 1988-1999. He was the loving father of Pam Miles (Bud), Jeff Halford (Anne Marie), Andrea Shea (Martin) and stepfather to Barry Seale and Guyneth McBee (Buster). He had 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. After serving in WWII, Bob began working at the Gates Rubber Company in the mailroom (with his Journalism Degree from University of Denver). He retired 38 years later, finishing his long career as Director of International Advertising for Gates, Belgium. Bob was a passionate baseball player/fan and loved music from the 30s and 40s. He had compassion for all and was a friend to many. A tribute to his life will take place on Thursday, November 9, 2017 @ Brookdale University Park, 2020 South Monroe Street, Denver, 80210 @ 3:00pm.

In 1984 I Bob came to Erembodegem, Belgium, to give the advertising team a comprehensive training on advertising. As the new appointed Adverting Manager, I had the pleasure to spend a lot of time with Bob and I was very lucky that he shared all his wisdom and knowledge with me. I owe Bob a lot, he was a very good mentor.
I will keep Bob in my prayers. My deepest sympathies go out to Bob's family. May God give you the peace that you seek.
