In loving memory of a dearly cherished nephew. Bobby, you filled all of our lives with such happiness and joy. I have so many wonderful memories of you, like when you came to live with us in Newark, when you were a teenager. I will never forget your unique way of watering the lawn, by lying on your side on the grass! Or the times I had to go with you to school to see the principle because you had cut class; I’d explain to the principle that I had sent you to school but don’t know what happened after that! You were always a good boy though with a happy go lucky attitude. The sudden loss of you has broken my heart and is very hard to accept that you have gone home. I take comfort in knowing that you are now with your Father, Charlie and Mother, Lois (my beloved sister), and our heavenly father. God bless you and keep you in his loving arms.

Love Always,
Uncle George & Auntie Mary Hodges

I miss you cuz, more and more with each and everyday that passes. It is still so difficult for me to accept that you are no longer with us; how lonely our lives are without you! However I am comforted knowing that you are in a better place and are at peace. I wish that were enough to heal my heart at losing you, but I cherish the memories that I have growing up, (like going to Gloria's honeymoon!) I wish you were still here to make more memories and grow old together. You were like a little brother to me and my sister Gloria, and big brother to my sisters Elaine and Noreen and brother, David. I love you so much and look forward to seeing your wonderful smile again. Until then, rest in peace cousin Bobby and know that I will always hold you in my heart. God Bless You.

Eternal Love,
Cousin Lorraine Hodges

It’s been 7 months that you were taken from us; it seems so unreal; I still don’t believe you’re gone. In my heart you’ll always be there. I’ll always think of all the crazy times we shared. I have soo many memories. We had soo much fun together. You were more like a brother to me than a cousin. I’ll especially cherish the good times when you lived with us in California. If I could bring you back, I wouldn’t care how many times you walked on my wet floor! I will never forget you, hopefully when my day comes, we will reunite… You being the “better person” I don’t know!!

Love your Cuz,
Gloria in California

IN LOVING MEMORY OF CHARLES WRIGHT IWATA 10-27-1958 AND ROBERT ELI ORTIZ 04-13-2008. ALTHOUGH IT HAS BEEN 50 YEARS, THERE'S BEEN NO CEASE TO THE COUNTLESS TEARS THAT WE HAVE SHED THESE MANY YEARS. YOUR ONLY SON HAS RECENTLY PASSED, YOU CAN EMBRACE HIM AT LONG LAST. OUR ONLY BROTHER, OUR PRIDE AND JOY, MOM AND DAD YOUR ONLY BOY. THE SUDDEN LOSS OF SOMEONE DEAR IS SUCH A SHOCK, BUT NOT TO FEAR, HIS SPIRIT IS WITH US,VERY NEAR. WE LOVED HIM IN LIFE, AND STILL IN DEATH. REGRETFULLY, WE WEREN'T THERE FOR HIS LAST BREATH. ALTHOUGH HE IS GONE, HIS MEMORY LIVES ON. BUT WE STILL FEEL IT WAS VERY WRONG, THAT IN THE PRIME OF HIS SWEET LIFE, HE LEFT HIS FAMILY, CHILDREN, AND WIFE. HIS LIFE WAS TAKEN SO UNEXPECTED. BUT WE MUST ACCEPT WHAT GOD HAS DIRECTED. SO UNTIL INFINITY OR THE 12TH OF NEVER, MAY HE REST IN PEACE, NOW AND FOREVER. LOVINGLY, YOUR SISTERS, CAROL AND VIRGINIA

Dear Andrea, Carol and Virginia,

Having lost your dear husband and brother so earlier is such profound greif and hurt. But take comfort in the knowledge that Bobby is now with our dear departed family members and God. We will always keep our memories close at heart and rejoice in his life here on earth, no matter how short it was. My cousin Bobby has always been a favorite and hearing of his passing has touched me deeply. I hope, pray and wish all of you the strenghth and courage to deal with your grief with deep faith and know that you are not alone.
With much love,
Cousin Debbie in California.

There are not enough words to express the tremendous sadness I feel. My Nino was a fabulous guy; truly one of a kind and I was blessed to be one of his Godchildren. I always knew that and I always loved him, however I should have made more of an effort to spend more time with him; I always figured I had all the time in the world to do so. The handfull of memories that I have of my nino will be with me always and serve to comfort me knowing that this wonderful man with the biggest heart, who loved his family, blessed my life for the short time that he was on this journey we call "life".
To his beautiful wife Andrea and Kids: Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers and through our continued connection we keep my nino alive on some level on this astral plane until we reunite with him one day.
If ever you have need of me I'll be there for you.

Deep Peace and Blessings,
Naiome
