In the loss of your Father
Though we try to prepare,
we are never prepared enough,
but there is a compassionate God in heaven who sees, who cares, who comforts.
May you feel God's presence
as you grieve the loss of your father he will always be in our hearts forever. We love you uncle Frootie.

I received Mr. Tolbert's flyer announcing his lawn mower service about two years ago. I am so glad I chose him for my lawn service. I cherish the memory of a businessman that did his job and was a fair businessman to his customers. I have already missed his business manners and will hold a special "Thank You" in my heart for a fair business man to his customers. I will and have already missed my friend, Mr. Tolbert. Thank You Sir. Ms Toney.

Robert was a great inspiration and walking reminder to all near him that doing the right thing is really as easy as breathing. Never a question of ethics, Mr. Tolbert always knew instantly the right course for his business and his interaction with neighbors in North City Park. He will remain a personal hero in my heart and mind until my time comes. Robert, we all walk in the shadow of your kindness!

Robert Tolbert(Frootie) was a hero and role model to the kids on 22nd and Estelle. He was our friend, and our mentor and he taught all of us there was no shame in hard work and in loving your children. He played ball with us and shared wisdom with us, corrected us when were wrong and was just a good person. He loved his girls and I am so grateful Reva and Robyn allowed him to include my family in their circle and share their dad with us and all of the kids in our neighborhood. I speak for myself, and I know Debra, Ray and Tracy feel the same. You are all in my prayers, may God comfort you and keep you. Love, Rocky. Roxanne(Boswell) Zeigler

I want like to say that mr. tolbert was one of the best male figures we had in our neighborhood in Wichita. We all were allowed to call him Frootie, he showed us how to respect one another and how to care for each other and how to have fun. He was a joy to be around and i'm glad i had the pleasure of knowing him...
