Since the funeral on November 14th, I can only say that losing my "Best Buddy" Ron, has been just as devastating to me today as the first time I learned the News from his son Robert. Words cannot explain the LOVE I had for Ron. We met in Vietnam on 29 August 1967. I knew from the very moment that I met him that we would forge a long and sincere friendship. Ron was both my friend and my "Brother." The tears still have not begun to dry up yet, and they may never do so. Young, Robert, Jeannie, your dad spoke of you often, and especially those beautiful grandchildren. This must be so confusing to them. Ron, my brother, my friend, know that I will LOVE you always and will NEVER forget you. Young, Jeannie, and Robert, know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers daily. Feel free to call and talk with me anytime. I love you.

Ron and I have been friends for 51 years.He is much more to me than that,he is my brother,and will allways be.I can't rember a time that Ron and were ever upset with each other.There are so many times we have shared,memories,I'll never forget.I thank God for letting know Ron and giving us time togother.Ron I miss you already,I cant think of not having you in my life.I love you my brother.May God watch over you and your family,we will miss you so much.
