Rose Hofsetz Obituary


HOFSETZ, ROSE B. (REDD) Died Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in Denver. She was born October 11, 1916 in Sedgwick County, CO to Christina (Krumm) and John Bieber. She married James (Jake) Steven Hofsetz November 28, 1936. He died September 27, 2002. She was a homemaker and a cashier for her husband, who managed bingo games for St. Elizabeth's church and various charities for many years. She is survived by her sons James F. (Genny) of Denver, A. Cory of Wheat Ridge, and Gary S. (Linda) of Lakewood; grandsons James A. of Wyandotte, MI, Paul S., Jeremy J., and Douglas M., all of Lakewood; brothers Walt Reuter of Plymouth, CA, Alex Reuter of Broomfield, and Chris Bieber of Holyoke; sister Lily Sittner of Bethany, MO, and numerous nephews and nieces. Visitation 2-3 pm Friday; Funeral Mass 3:00 pm Friday, all at the mortuary chapel. Interment in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Presentation of Our Lady School Scholarship Fund, 660 Julian St., Denver, CO 80204.
