Dear Rosemary and family
We were so saddened to hear of the death of your dear son. We can't imagine what you are going through, but please know that many, many people including those of the cardio chisel workout class are praying for you and thinking of you at this time. May God see you through this time.
The Mikler Family
October 3, 2016
The Miklers have so many fond memories of Sean. We pulled together some of our absolute favorites here and send all of our love and light.
#1 Sean's boisterous baby laugh was the best. Lauren will always remember (and can still hear) his sweet giggles and the subsequent question he would yell before he could officially say f-sounds: "HEYYY, WHAT'S SO PUNNY?!" This only resulted in more cracking up.
#2 Freddie recalls the fun Indiana visits of our youth and pictures a tiny Sean bopping along in the bedroom to the 90s hit "Ghetto Superstar" while we held him in our arms. It was a catchy tune, and we thought it was so cool that he also felt the music! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXz-HOcd_WQ
#3 Auntie Annie will never forget how excited she always was to see the kids on the many cross-country drives to Colorado. Sean's warm hugs, deep conversations and handsome chiseled face are just a few reasons she was happy to see him.
#4 Uncle Fred specifically enjoyed traveling in the fall to watch Sean play football.
#5 All of us, including honorary family member Susan Castle, so appreciated how much Sean and the Keener family loved trips to the beach. With such gorgeous nature in Colorado, the sand and the waves were about all us Hoosiers could offer in the great outdoors.
#6 Auntie Annie and Uncle Fred were both as big of fans of Rib City as Sean was. She said he would always go with when they were in town... they "watched in amazement as Sean ordered a slab-and-a-half of ribs with all the sides -- and he would be the first one to finish his large meal. He loved his ribs, and probably yours too if you let him have them. I would wonder how could he eat all that food and where he puts it having such a svelte body."
#7 Speaking of food, Uncle Fred said Sean would give him a thumbs up whenever he made steaks on the grill. Lauren remembers eating our way through the Big Apple together and also stocking up on Trader Joe's goodies for the hip Chelsea apartment the family rented.
#8 As we all know, Uncle Fred really loves talking motorcycles, and he especially loved talking about them with Sean.
#9 Auntie Annie treasures the times Sean would sit down at the kitchen table and explain the in-depth meaning of the books he read. He was so intelligent, and she found his insights so fascinating.
#10 We all admire Sean for his many talents including an especially incredible eye for design and style.
#11 Freddie shared Sean's passion for music and is thankful Sean introduced him to Ramona Falls a few years ago. He really "digs" them now and noted that this is the first song he heard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ga0ohgZFVqc The last time Freddie visited Colorado, the two also talked about artist Maynard James Keenan: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9vluBFWv4mE
Each of us is so lucky to have had precious time with Sean. We will always love him, and will one day we will be with him again.

Sean and I were just three years old when we met. From the very start of our friendship, Sean had an incredible sense of creativity and intellect that never seemed to cease as we grew up together. I will always remember the summer evenings as kids when we would ride our bikes through the streets or the days we explored the vast open space behind our neighborhood. Once I moved, we grew further apart but then reconnected in high school. Even though years had passed, Sean remained the same kid that I grew up with. He had an unwavering individuality about him where he showed kindness and appreciation for everything. I will never forget him.
Thanks for all the memories,
Parker

Unfortunately, I am unable to make it to the service, but I want to share my love and condolences to the family. Sean and I were friends in high school and haven't talked much since. This has made me realize how every moment is precious and that the people we have around us are hugely important, even if we realize too late. Sean was in all of my AP classes and he was a very talented student, whom also had some serious style that I could not better. I am sorry to hear about this loss and wish I could do more, he will not be forgotten. Sean played a roll in who I am today, as well as many other people and I know that.
With love,
Bret

I am so sorry for your loss. I know that losing a loved one is not easy, but our faith in God's promises can help us get through difficult times like this. I hope you will find comfort in God's promise at John 11:24-25. Knowing that there is a future for those we have lost in death can be very reassuring! -
