Sean Patrick Keller, 51, of Lakewood, Colorado went through transition from this life on January 9, 2019. Born in Hillsdale, Michigan in August of 1967 to Judy (nee Carpenter) Jones and Richard J. Keller. Sean is preceded in death by both of his parents and his grandfather, Vaughan Keller. Sean is survived by his beloved wife, Valerie. Sean is also survived by his brother, Bill Draper; his sister, Laureen; his uncle, Fred Carpenter; his cousin, Dan Dear; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Claudia Lark, Nathan and Gina Hicks, all of Michigan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Brian and Laurie Westcoat, Todd and Paige Krause, all of Colorado. Sean also has many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews that are too numerous to list. Sean and Valerie are both graduates of Morenci Michigan High School. As a young man, Sean worked at his grandfather's excavation and paving company. In 2012 he relocated to Colorado and in 2014 he began working in road construction. On May 21, 2016 Sean and Valerie were married at Golden Gate State Park in Gilpin County, Colorado. Sean loved nature and working in the outdoors. There was not a tree, animal, or mountain that he did not appreciate. He was a voracious reader and enjoyed finishing the New York Times crossword puzzle on Sundays. Sean is greatly missed by his family, friends, and coworkers. There will be a Celebration of Life at The Rockland Community Church in Golden, CO at 1:00pm on January 19, 2019. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Foothills Animal Shelter. Donations can be made electronically by visiting https://foothillsanimalshelter.org/donate/.
