SHARON Acker Obituary

Sharon Lynn Acker (Crabb) died peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Billings, Montana to Bozena and Loren Crabb. She grew up in Park Hill in Denver, graduated from George Washington High in 1974 and from Arizona State University in 1978 with a degree in Elementary Education. She worked as an educator before her career of 30 years at National Jewish Hospital. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, and doting aunt. She was an accomplished gardener, expert cook, an avowed foodie, an avid reader, and a friend to all animals. Sharon lived this last year fiercely and passionately. Her grace, courage, and humor were an inspiration. Sharon is survived by her husband Kevin, sister Cynthia Eaton (Dan), sister Debbi Ray (Rick), brother Bruce Crabb. A celebration of life and columbarium interment is scheduled for Thursday, September 14 at 2 pm at Montview Boulevard Presbyterian Church, 1980 Dahlia Street Denver, CO. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to University of Colorado Hospital, Anschutz Cancer Pavilion, 1665 Aurora Ct., Aurora, CO 80045.
